"I want to thank you for visiting us and for everything you did for us, especially the conversation we had and how it made me feel optimistic about getting better. It meant a lot to me. K loved her CST and slept on her own for the first time. You made my very difficult time feel doable and it made a huge difference". - N.

What We
Offer

Infant Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive therapeutic approach that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Practitioners use light touch (5g of pressure) to identify and relieve tension, aiming to improve the function of the central nervous system. For infants, CST can be particularly beneficial in addressing issues such as colic, sleep disturbances, breastfeeding difficulties, tongue-tie, and the aftereffects of birth trauma. By promoting relaxation and balance within the body, Craniosacral Therapy can enhance the overall well-being and support the healthy development of the nervous system, leading to improved comfort and behaviour in infants.

Niagara Doulas provides Craniosacral Therapy for infants, delivering this gentle, hands-on treatment to promote relaxation and address various health concerns. With specialized training and a compassionate approach, they apply light touch techniques to help alleviate issues such as colic, sleep disturbances, and tongue-tie. By offering Infant CST, Niagara Doulas support the healthy development of the infant's nervous system and contribute to the overall well-being and comfort of both the baby and the family.

Initial Consultation - 60-90 minutes - $80

During the initial consultation, the therapist will begin by gathering a detailed medical history and discussing any concerns or specific issues with the parents. This includes asking about the pregnancy, birth, and any notable health or behavioural issues the infant may be experiencing. The therapist will then conduct a gentle, hands-on evaluation of the infant using light touch to detect any imbalances or restrictions in the craniosacral system. This initial session aims to create a comfortable and soothing environment for the infant while allowing the therapist to develop a tailored treatment plan based on their findings.

Follow-up Visits - 45 minutes - $60
