Meet the Heart Behind Niagara Doulas
Hi, I'm Crystal
I'm the Founder of Niagara Doulas, and supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, is truly my passion.
As a birth and postpartum doula serving Niagara and surrounding communities, my role is to provide calm, compassionate, and evidence-based support so you never have to walk this journey alone.
My passion for supporting families began years ago through my work in reproductive health and community services. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of supporting families from diverse backgrounds, including those facing financial, social, and emotional challenges during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Today, I bring together my experience as a doula, infant care specialist, and community advocate to provide personalized support that meets families exactly where they are.
Whether you're preparing for your first baby, welcoming another child into your family, navigating feeding challenges, recovering from birth, or simply looking for reassurance during a major life transition, I am here to provide practical guidance, emotional support, and a judgment-free space.
I know that becoming a parent can feel overwhelming, exciting, joyful, exhausting, and sometimes all of those at once.
My role is not to tell you how to parent.
My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions that are right for your family.
Because every parent deserves a village, and I would like to be a part of yours.

What Matters Most To Me
When families work with Niagara Doulas, they can expect:
Compassion
A safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected and cared for.
Evidence-Based Information
Accurate, up-to-date information that helps you make informed decisions with confidence.
Non-Judgmental Support
Whether you are planning an epidural, an unmedicated birth, breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, or a combination of both, you'll receive support without pressure or criticism.
Personalized Care
Every family is different. Your support should be too.

More Than Just Practical Support
Many people think that doulas simply provide information or help with newborn care.
While we certainly do those things, our work is really about helping families feel less alone.
Sometimes support looks like answering a feeding question.
Sometimes it looks like helping you create a birth plan.
Sometimes it looks like holding your baby while you take a shower or get some much-needed rest.
And sometimes it simply means having someone remind you that you are doing an amazing job.

Our Philosophy
We believe:
-
Every family deserves support
-
There is no one "right" way to parent
-
Informed choices lead to confident parents
-
Birth and Postpartum experiences matter
-
Parents deserve care too
We meet families where they are and provide support that reflects their unique needs, goals, and values.
